It's a new year and a new awards season! As has become our tradition, we will also have a brand new look!

Currently, we are 'hiring' our new team members, redesigning our site, and implementing several other cool tools that will help us make this awards year the best ever! Fortunately, we won't be making the drastic changes that you saw last year but we will have a few new definitions and a few less award categories.

Please be patient while we prepare for the 2007 awards. We hope to have the new site up and running within a couple of weeks. Our web address (URL) will change slightly but you need not worry because we will automatically forward you to the new site once it becomes available. You won't even need to change your bookmarks.

We will begin accepting nominations for 2007 during the latter part of March! Please check back with us for more details! While you wait, begin gathering your lists of nominees for this year. Also, you can visit our archives to find great stories, artwork, and videos!

The Stargate Fan Awards is still accepting donations via Paypal to help defray the costs required to run and maintain our huge database of award-winning Stargate fan works. We are a 100% volunteer-run organization and the costs of maintaining our databases and web site come straight from our own wallets.

We appreciate the generous donations from everyone who has contributed thus far but we are still "in the red". Rest assured, we will only accept enough donations to cover the awards site needs. Should donations received exceed our monetary requirements, we will remove the Paypal buttons. We are a completely non-profit, volunteer-run organization.

If you have enjoyed the awards and would like to see them continue, please help us out.
